Rory Hall is President of Grade Tech Power Services and a third-generation heavy-equipment operator with a lifetime of experience in excavation, grading, and civil construction. He began working alongside his father at age eight, entered the trade full-time as a teenager, and helped build Grade Tech from a small local crew into a trusted civil contractor supporting power infrastructure across the western United States. Since 2005, Rory has overseen more than 200 power-industry projects, including high-voltage substations, transmission rights-of-way, and remote mobile concrete operations.

Known for his belief that “nobody’s hands are too good for a shovel,” Rory leads through service, accountability, and example. His approach combines an old-school work ethic with a family-first culture built on safety, quality, communication, humility, and developing people. Having overcome personal loss, business setbacks, and repeated adversity, Rory also mentors others through leadership, personal, and family challenges—believing that lasting success comes not from avoiding failure, but from learning, getting back up, and trying again.
